The service also offers opportunities and information for people that have been long term unemployed, returning to work or for students. | INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS |
| In addition, our other, general services are available to students. These include jobsearch services through touch screen Jobpoints in our Jobcentres where users can search for local vacancies or vacancies elsewhere in the UK or Europe. For people that are unable to visit their nearest jobcentre or do not have access to the Internet they can use our telephone jobsearch service Employment Service Direct by ringing 0845 606 0234. The service is available Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm and Saturdays 9am - 1pm.
Jobcentres are well rehearsed in helping students to find work. This often involves running seasonal Jobsfairs which are particularly attractive to students returning to their home towns or seeking out of term holiday jobs. |
